PIXEL BUG Weekend 006
Weekend #4 that D isn't here.Ö It's also the first weekend of 2010.
Coming from a very busy post-Christmas week ─ Mt. Pinatubo Sunday + lunch with my 3rd Grade Filipino teacher on Monday + trip to Calatagan with Laurene on Tuesday, I laid low for a few days because my cough & fever got worse and I didn't want to be sickly + wimpy on New Year's Day. I'm a lot better now. In fact, I was lucky to do something with friends.
I watched my first 2009 MMFF film with two of my closest friends. We played safe and saw I LOVE YOU, GOODBYE. For readers who aren't familiar with it, MMFF = Metro Manila Film Festival. It is an annual film fest that runs during Christmas week here in the Philippines. It focuses on films produced locally, which means that during this time, we don't have movie screenings for foreign films. I wouldn't rant about I Love You, Goodbye. I wouldn't rave about it either. All I know's that after the movie, my friends & I were analyzing most of the events that happened ILYG. And I must say that I prefer seeing Kim Chiu as an antagonist.
So the weekend rolled and it was good to be out with friends. Movie. Dinner. SOME A LOT of WINE. We do text and message each other via Facebook walls, but for me, nothing beats time spent with their company. Despite busy scheds, we should all find time to sit down, share stories, and laugh with people who are closest to us, next to family. It's all good!Ü
We should be seeing each other more often this year, that's the plan. Sounds good huh? One last thing before I end this post. I didn't know that Burger King had puffed snacks. That's awesome-ness. Hahaa!
Okay, I'm updated now.Ü Hope everyone had a good Christmas break and weekend. I'm sure most of you are in back-to-reality modes.

Well, some or a lot of wine, it looks like you had fun. And you're so right about time with friends. Life gets complicated and it is easy to get caught up in that and forget to take time for people. Keep them in the habit of getting together if you can!
