It has been years since I last had my last bottle of beer because I have already found the second love of my life.Ü Next to water and milk, vodka is my favorite drink. You can drink it alone or pair with other drinks and it's still good! It's one of the few strong drinks that give you a nice and steady nostalgic kind of condition. I don't mean to sound much of alcoholic there, but seriously one can drink vodka, enjoy it and just be at that state before getting crocked.
I do like to drink, but I only drink with people I know. I don't get drunk or at least I try to not be intoxicated much when I'm in Manila. I give myself the license to get wasted when I'm out-of-town.Ü
Absolut Pears & Absolut Mango are my super favorites! I can drink 'em straight up, but I also like Vodka-Frenzied Drinks.Ü Here are really simple and awesome Vodka mixes that my friends & I enjoy:

Wow such a coincidence. I had one vodka last night with lime - eversince, I'd go for vodka with friends or acquaintance and REDS with friends on sosyalans haha.
Most of the time now, I go for tea or hot water when I need to fix my bloated tummy.
Drink in moderation is a key to enjoy with friends!

i like vodka mojitos. vodka, lime and fresh mint leaves. you stir just enough to bruise the leaves. yummmm.

I'm a vodka girl too! But I also love rum & tequila...anything hard. I detest beer, I hate the taste, and the bloaty feel. And it makes you pee every 10 minutes, and not all bars have nice toilets to start with.
I guess we're same in more ways than one Russ ;-)

Oh yeah! I almost forgot that yes, there are washrooms that aren't really clean and presentable. I don't like beer coz of the bloated feeling and it makes you feel full. Cheers to VODKA :)

I don't drink. Never have. I will sample, I will taste, sometimes I will cook with alcohol, but never consume (unless it is good quality liqeur filled chocolates).
I never understood why any rational being would consume an intoxicant. My grandmother asked me if I had taken a vow. Nope.
A Filipina once told me, "I've never met a Pole who doesn't drink."
I don't drink but may times na may pinapatikim sa'kin na light lang and mix siya ng vodka and something... I rarely drink talaga lol... But I think I was able to drink ung vodka na may sprite... Hahaha I have no idea regarding the mixes. lol.

There are different reasons why people consume alcohol. There's a huge number of 'em who do it to drown their problems, but a lot also drink but not too much to socialize etc :) I guess it's a person-to-person thing, it all depends on what your trip is.

Actually, it is the worse Vodka ever that's why we have to drink it with Mountain Dew. They advertised that you just have to put ice in a glass and you're good. Apparently, it's not like that. The BAR Vodka alone's blech!

I've heard of that, parang Patron, it burns too. But Vodka's got a lot of practical uses too. You should try Vodka + Red Bull one time. Sarap.Ü
I found vodka to be a little hot on my body, especially Absolut. I'd rather take it with a little lime ;)
We used to go on gimik nights everyday. That time, I used to live in our unit in Manila, and my friends and I would usually hit the bars in BF. Driving drunk from Paranaque to Manila at 3 in the morning was quite common. But when I met my wife, I gave it all up. It was something I immensely enjoyed but got over.
I think the alcoholic drinks I've had since then were a few red and white wines and some Asti on Christmas and New Year. Funny how I never really missed it.
Wasak kami nun Russ kasi 5 lang kaming umiinom pero 3 Vodka/Red Bull ang inubos namin. Tapos tigisang 500ml kami ng Red Horse. Waaaasak ang kinalabasan. Kaya ngayon, iced tea muna ako. Hahahaha!
