PIXEL BUG Weekend 001
Coming from a very stressful and emotional week, I'd like to think that my weekend's okay. It was a so-so weekend, not-so-great but not-that-crappy too. I would force myself to smile, but deep inside I know that I'm not in my usual Russ Mode because even yummy food couldn't make me feel better. Most of you know that my week has been glum and gray ... except for the little band-aid on my knee.
I had dinner with D & his sisters in Mexicali ─ I had ENCHILADA with Ground Beef, Mexican Rice, & Salad with Sour Cream + Guacamole on the side. Yup, I had rice. In fact, I almost finished it. I have been eating poorly & horribly since November 20th, so I think my body deserved some extra nourishment. When I say eating poorly, that means, eating becomes a task for me especially when I have 0 appetite. I oblige myself to eat something at least once a day.
I finally watched New Moon. I don't feel OP (out-of-place) anymore, especially when my friends, blog friends, and Twitter friends talk and rave about the movie. Guess what? I was very disappointed with New Moon. Shocked? For me, it just didn't do justice to the book. It was a pathetic excuse to spend PHP180. The story mainly revolved on a grieving Bella with Jacob-on-the-rebound. It's almost junky. The CG was also terrible.
I'll stop there.
I really didn't like it.
Period.

I watched New Moon because of my teenage daughter ... so I can relate with her rumblings but honestly???? I really didn't like it -- maybe for teenagers.

I, too, didn't like New Moon. It was boring and hate the graphics. :D
My friends have been bugging me to see it in the theater but deep inside I think it's not worth it. LOL!

Hahaa. Yes, it is NOT worth watching in the theater ─ it was over-hyped. It's the bad that one of my friends even said this, "New Moon is the only film that would be a waste of money even if your tickets were free."

Haven't watched New Moon, Since I'm not a big fan, so I'm not really in a rush, esp after some friends told me that it's not good..Btw, the food looks yummy :)
I don't know why people are hyping Twilight movie that much. I am not a Twi-hater but it's just like those TV shows girl fall in love, guy has powers dramas minus fangs and brown contact lenses. LOL.

the book wasn't good too..
it was dragging for me..
the movie was better for me compared to the book.. book 2 did revolve around bella and jacob.. and left edward out of the picture.. while i was reading book 2, i was NEXT PAGE.. NEXT PAGE..
Yup. The book wasn't good too. It's the worst amongst the four books, but it's "important" because most of the conflicts were established in the second book, which I didn't see in the movie.Ö

I haven't seen the New Moon movie. I loved the books but movie adaptations were downers. Even the New Moon book has the leasts fans because Edward left. But I heard it was very nakakakilig.

Favorite ng anak ko ang New Moon especially si Jacob. Actually nakaka-antok nga cause the movie is parang dragging. Pero oks na rin kasi pareho kami ng anak ko Team Jacob. :D

Twilight • The Book's feel good. Well maybe it's crappy, but the time that I was reading it, I was confined in the hospital after my surgery so it was a good form of entertainment. Haha.

wow. the last time i watched movie it was like 35 pesos. i wouldn't dare spend more if i have read the book :)....which i have. so now i am waiting for the Chinese DVD guy to sell beyond high-definition copy of New Moon :)

Hi Ate Russ! Wow, I've been craving Mexican for weeks. My favorite would be nachos dipped in chilli. :]
Anyway, there's a good review of New Moon I read earlier. I agree with most of her comments (except that I am not looking forward to the next Twilight Saga movies).
