Roselle, mag-aral ka nga ng belly dancing. That was Mom talking to me. I looked at her and stopped what I was doing. I smiled at her and said that I'd do it AFTER I reach my weight goal.Ü This means that Mom has to wait. Hahaa! I'm taking baby steps, which require patience. I'm really working on that because it is not something that comes naturally to me.
*with a big smile on her face*
With the weight loss thing, I've gotten used to it. With life in general, I sometimes think that if I could break off into three or four mini-lopes I would get so much more accomplished. Life doesn't work that way. There are times when I'd think about the crickets that I hear chirping outside my window, chirping day and night. The chirp is constant. I wonder if they ever get tired of just doing that all day. They must be really patient little bugs.
I think that having too much to do and feeling like there is just so much to accomplish was met by my body last weekend... saying NO, just NO. I was forced to go slow for two days. D told me that my body must be physically tired, which keeps me in check.I guess if you are not able to control it by slowing down, something else will help you slow down. I need to remember baby steps... one thing at a time... one day at a time. It will all happen when it's supposed to. And while I need to be active in making things happen, I also need to relax and let 'em be. I'll be back in the gym this afternoon; for now, Belly Dancing will have to wait.Ü I'm still a work-in-progress.

If you happen to have extra net time today, there's a nice and informative post in Traveliztera's blog about this new a recent and still an on-going diet fa, AKA the "L-Carnitine Craze".

Take it easy! Mahirap yung sugod ka ng sugod. Baka sa umpisa ka lang may lakas, and after a while, you might lost steam, which is where trouble comes; and before you know it, all your goals come crashing down.
Slowly but surely I always say. With your family and friends backing you up, I'm sure you can do everything you want, just a little bit at a time.:)
Thanks Rico.Ü
That's right, slowly but surely.

i remember seeing a product sa home TV shopping. para syang rotating chair. yung chair moves in a circular motion, para kang nagbe-belly dancing! funny!

It would be nice if you and your mom could both try belly dancing out. Some sorta mom-daughter bonding. :)
Hi Russ! Thanks for the link. :) Super appreciated. :)
Btw, wow. I'd really love to try that too but my list goes on and on hahaha. I, too, want to reach my target weight first before engaging to my other activities. :D Good luck and I hope to see some vids soon on your fb. ;)
