This post was inspired by my dears: MANJU and JASSY.
In my "A PIECE OF RUSS IN APRIL", I mentioned that I plan to take meal-replacement shakes once a day because for some reason, people tend to overeat when they're at the office. And then today, I got a teeny-weeny shot of what it's like to work in Makati. I was lucky that lunch was free because I was on my first day & just had my induction. It was kinda bad though that I couldn't eat the rice during lunch because it was semi-hard so I ended up having just a piece of chicken. Come afternoon, I was starved. As soon as I got out of the office, I grabbed a Shrimp Sandwich from Wendy's. I didn't want to get stuck in traffic .. hungry.

Makati meals are pricey and if I were to eat buy my food there everyday, it would be like I'm working just for that. NO effin way! I think Jassy and I connected. Even before I read her comment,

You can make menu for the week and you can prepare your baon that way you will still have healthy diet... As for exercise...early in the morning as soon as you wake up... Wake up extra early for the exercise... Just some suggestions =)
I already made a trip to the supermarket. Anyways, I was able to device a plan and find a solution to my problem: I have to bring my own food and that includes:
  • my lunch
  • my snacks
  • and dinner .. if needed
  • Earlier, I made a trip to the supermarket to buy my stash for the next 3 working days since Friday is a holiday. Not only am I going to save, but I am sure that I'm eating healthy stuff and I know that it will be within my calorie limit. I have
  • Milk
  • Multi-Grain Bread
  • Nesvita
  • Energy Drink
  • Cheese
  • Wheat Crackers
  • Some Canned Tuna
  • And I can't remember the rest
  • In my previous entry, Manju's comment said,
I def. eat more at the office D:
You're such an inspiration for fitness, i wonder how you keep yourself so motivated
Believe it or not, I motivate myself by wanting to inspire more people to be fit and healthier + the fact that I want to fit in any clothes that I want. Okay, so the second reason is VANITY. Hahaa!

Work is not an excuse to not be healthy. It should push us even more to take care of ourselves and our well-being. I got very lucky though because I was able to exercise. The original plan was to work out early morning, but there were stuff in my exercise area and there was no place for me to do my workout. As soon as I got home, I had the house all to myself and 30-Shred-ed away!Ü It was Level 2, Day 8 for me. So that taught me that, IT CAN BE DONE!

You are an inspiration, so I'm glad you have sources of inspiration for yourself!

I keep lots of water at my desk and try to drink instead of eat during those moments when I need to mindlessly consume something.

PS - My father-in-law had knee replacement surgery last week. He is spending 3 weeks in a rehab center, then he comes home. I don't know how long it will be until he is back on his feet again.

Well I say if vanity provides the motivation for staying healthy, then stay vain! :D I actually have some pictures of girls in bikinis posted as reminders of what I'm working towards. It definitely gets me moving with my 30 day shred! Hooray health!

It's amazing to get inspired with readers along with their comments!

Also try finishing a lot of veggie salad and soup first so the time you'll be eating your rice and ulam, your stomach is full already.Skipping meals for me is a big no coz I tend to overeat when starving.

re:Japan is not a Catholic country so there's no egg hunting here.Wakaba's school is a catholic school and was invited but we didn't make it to join coz our family went to the park instead.btw,I saw your comment last Monday night and when I went back this morning, your comment/greetings there is gone already!(T_T)I don't know what's happening...
