I am entitled to CHEAT DAYS, we all are. I find myself wow-ed and a little annoyed when I read articles and at one glance, I know they're right saying something like:
You'll never stick to a diet for the long haul if you have to swear off all your favorite foods. Treat yourself occasionally!BUT the article will go and it will say something like this:
Have a piece of hard candy or a small square of semi-sweet chocolate and satisfy your cravings--you've earned it!Well ... That isn't my idea of a Cheat Day. I'm sorry, what planet do these people come from? I don't think that a niggling piece of sweet can satisfy your craving for chocolate. If you desire something so intensely and it's easily vanquished just like that, I think that hardly even qualifies as a craving to begin with.
Of course we cannot just indulge in extraordinary treats every time we feel like it. I'm speaking for myself ─ I get days when I feel like eating something evil. Instead I choose my occasions. If you don't, two things: either you plan ahead and reward yourself for good behavior OR you go insanely out of control for a few glorious moments, then beat yourself up for it for a respectable hour or two after wards.
When I'm out with friends, I forgo a healthy meal because I noticed that some of them don't get to enjoy their food when they see me doing my healthy shites.Ö I feel a little bad because. When I fall of the eating wagon, I do so in a truly spectacular fashion with any of the following, top-of-mind right now: Ecstasy! Fortunately, I have a lot restraint except when I'm traveling. I don't torture myself when I'm out in another place that I've never been to or I rarely visit ─ why go on a diet when you're on trip? That is lunacy! Food plays an important part of any trip. Right?
After all, we do deserve a treat every now and then.Ü
What are your favorite indulgences?

I agree--both that a single piece of candy can't be called a cheat and that you have to sample the local food when you travel. You may never go there again!
Favorite cheats...depends, quarter-pounder is good or a Wendy's spicy chicken. Ice cream is a biggie, the flavor changes with my mood: chocolate, pistashio, green tea...
chocolates for me! :)
Oh I agree, food is an integral part of a trip! I love discovering new food and taste when I'm travelling!!
Hmm, my indulgences are probably cupcakes, cheesecake and green tea ice cream:)
a piece of hard candy or a small square of semi-sweet chocolate??? nothing cheaty about that!
My cheats are KFC original, frozen yoghurt (current biggest addiction), Starbucks Caramel Macchiato, and HUGE portion of English breakfast in Jones..YUmm..
Seee, that's why I can't go on diets. -.-'
I just try to eat healthy.
But I don't eat junk food (candy, chocolate, chips, soda) anyway, soo I guess that's good? :D
I'm just not a sweets person.
And of course! TRIP = FOOOOOD. <3
RICADEMUS.
Going on a diet while you're on a trip is a major bummer. That's really sad.
••
OMG! You guys have Spicy Chicken in Wendy's. I wish we had that here too. I love anything spicy!
GRACE.
Chocolate is good for the soul :)
You can never go wrong with them.

A trip isn't complete without trying out something new, be it food or wine. Cheesecake is ♥
OLIVE.
That's what I think too, nothing cheaty about them. Isn't frozen yogurt a little healthy? Or is it just White Hat, because they claim to be 98% fat free!Ü
JAY.
Cheers to eating healthy :)
I'm also a health-eater. Like you, I don't eat junk food too. It makes me happy.
Same here--I don't forget to treat myself.I'm preparing healthy meals for my family the whole weekdays and so I guess I deserve a cheat days and besides we're always out on a weekend!
Mine is chocolates and yakiniku!^_^
i love sweet drinks and pizza! although i try to lessen my intake of those now because i'm trying to lose weight.
but i agree really there's nothing wrong with treating yourself and giving in to your cravings every now and then. food is there to enjoy. :)
my absolute weakness are sweet drinks! and pizza. although i try to cut down on those nowadays because im trying to lose weight. but i believe there's absolutely nothing wrong with treating yourself to your fave indulgences every now and then. food is there to enjoy after all.
Usually my cheat days are on the weekends. I usually treat myself to a restaurant and eat food that I don't normally eat on weekdays like rice, chocolate, ice cream, burger or any food that's in the range of 500 kcal.
i love the idea of having cheat days!
movies. haha. kung food. hmmm... pasta. i love pasta. have been searching for spicy pasta. saan ba makakain nyan?
CLARISSA.
You have growing kids at home so it really helps that their Mom makes healthy stuff for them, they will thank you for that when they're older.
LIZ.
Pizza's really a comfort food. I'm always happy after having pizza. Weird no?
CHARLES.
I like that attitude of yours; you allow yourself to have cheat days without totally losing it. Good Job :)
PRINSESA MUSANG.
I might go insane without 'em.
THE SCUD.
The Rigatoni Alfonso of Cibo is a bit spicy. You can also try the Arabiatta in Figaro and in Conti's, both are spicy.
Ohhh, yessss! It was a digital perm!! I've permed my hair before but never the digital one! I felt like a robot when they plugged so many wires to my hair lol:P
buti ka pa, kasi ako baliktad, all my days are 'quarter pounder' days except for sundays (basketball day)..
i think i have too many :))

SHER.
How much does it cost there? Ooh. I really want to have my hair curled. Maybe I should grow my hair again :)
HUMAN BULLSHIT.
I have to say that McDonald's Quarter Pounder is just too good, quite hard to resist.
